DirectConnect™ Folding System: New for 2016 is the DirectConnect folding system, which removes the quick release from the top tube, provides an easier folding experience and larger clamping surface between the two halves of the frame. A flip of the quick release lever and your bike folds to a compact size.
Folding Integrated Technology: The FIT frame is designed around another patented system that allows the bike to fold without any breaks in the frame’s tubing. Not only does this make it easier to fold, but it makes Montague bikes the strongest folding bike on the market. The Folding Integrated Technology (F.I.T.) is based around the same frame construction concepts as serious full suspension downhill bikes.
Carbon Fiber Fork & Disc Brakes: A carbon blade fork reduces the weight of the FIT and makes for an even smoother ride by damping road vibrations. Combined with the stopping power and reliability of disc brakes, the FIT shines with unprecedented road performance.

The Drop Bar edition is a Freedom Folding Bikes exclusive and includes Sram Red (Green) Double Tap shifters/brake levers with Sram Force front and rear derailleurs, an 11-28 Sram rear cassette and an FSA Energy hollow forged crankset with 53/39 tooth rings. The standard fit tires have been replaced with Continental Cyclocross Speed 700x35c tires.

Own a sports car and wanted to be able to stow a full size bike in the back. That seemed impossible until I discovered the Montague FIT. This bike is worth every dollar and more.
